Sweet rice pudding

Receta en espa�ol aqu� This  sweet dessert always remember me from my childhood.  This  is the traditional recipe in my family  but there are several variations depending on the country or region. I hope you like it. Ingredients (4 people) 1200 ml milk (if you like less thick add 1500 ml) 1 cup short grained white rice (200 g) 125 g sugar 3 o 4 strips of lemon zest 2 sticks cinnamon 3 or 4 dried cloves Ground cinnamon or cocoa to decorate. Directions Into a heavy bottomed saucepan, to prevent rice from sticking, bring the milk to a boil over a medium flame.  Add cinnamon sticks, lemon peels and dried cloves. Continue to boil for a while. Wash and drain the rice,  add it to the milk. Boil on a medium flame until tender. Basmati rice with sausages and cheese

Receta en espa�ol aqu� I know when it's hot outside the last thing you want to do is turn on the oven but...  I had all the ingredients and it was too long since I've prepared this recipe last time�  Quick and easy to cook  it's not recommended for a light diet but sometimes you just have to indulge and not feel guilty! Ingredients - 4 people: 200 g (1 cup)  basmati rice 1 leek 1 large green onion or 1/2 onion 5 wiener sausages 6 slices of smoked bacon 200 ml. of cooking cream Havarti cheese enough to cover the baking dish, about 6 slices Olive oil Salt to taste   Directions Cook the basmati rice .  Meanwhile, put in a skillet two tablespoons of olive oil and  add the onion and the leek, finely chopped.  When they are golden add  sliced ??sausages and bacon slices cut into small strips. Vegetarian "meatballs" with cheese and onion sauce

 Receta en espa�ol aqu� If you want to taste a different meatballs,  these meatless �meatballs� are perfect for you, they  are totally vegetarian and delicious to eat.  The first time I did this recipe  I had my doubts especially about frying lettuce, but since I cooked it for my family I can't stop making these �meatballs� occasionally. How to cook basmati rice

Receta en espa�ol aqu�   Basmati Rice is a variety of long grain rice  whose name in Hindi language means the "queen of fragrance". Basmati rice tastes the best after it is thoroughly washed, so: Wash the rice  into a large bowl, then filling it with fresh  clean water.  Change the water several times, to remove excess starch. The water will become clearer each time you change it. Once  water run clear and not look cloudy, drain and fill the bowl with fresh water again. Allow the rice to sit in the  water for 30 minutes to speed the cooking process. It�s important to have a saucepan with a thick bottom, to prevent burning the rice, and with a tight fitting lid. Put a tablespoon of olive oil into a medium saucepan, fry one garlic, add the drained rice and stir until translucent. Add fresh water and salt. Receta en espa�ol aqu� Basil is an herb originally from Asia but now widely used in the Mediterranean cuisine. Every year  in spring I sow a pot of basil and I have fresh leaves all the summer to make sauces or salads. One of my favourite recipe with basil is  the Green pesto. I use this sauce for appetizers, pizzas, pasta, toasts etc ... You can even freeze it in ice cube trays to go using it later ... I personally prepare a small amount to spend on the day. Little by little I will give you more ideas for use it.
